Our Approach

HOW WE OPERATE

We don't lead with marketing narratives or broad promises. We lead with defined programs, documented structures, and operational accountability.

We underwrite with a portfolio mindset — not a single-asset mentality. Wherever feasible, we pursue multi-well and multi-project exposure so your outcome isn't tied to one binary event. More shots on goal, sized appropriately.

Our methodology rests on four pillars:

• Portfolio diversification — spread risk across wells, basins, and development timelines • Execution discipline — defined scope, cost-definition frameworks, and governance • Tax-aware structuring — documented and consistent with the asset class (IDCs, depletion, depreciation where applicable) • Transparent risk management — commodity exposure, downtime risk, and liquidity constraints disclosed upfront

We structure cleanly so you and your advisors can evaluate with confidence.

Nexus Petroleum Group opportunities are pass-through partnerships. Taxable items flow to you and are reported at the investor level — typically through a Schedule K-1.

Our economics are LP-first and investor-forward:

• Distributable cash frameworks prioritize investors • Flexible allocation sizing so you can build your portfolio on your terms

We enforce real governance through defined documentation, subscription mechanics, and standards appropriate for the asset class.

Important disclosure: Distributions, tax benefits, and investment outcomes are not guaranteed and depend on operational results, commodity pricing, costs, and individual investor circumstances.

We operate with institutional discipline without the institutional overhead. Defined scope. Measurable execution. Transparent disclosure. You evaluate opportunities on fundamentals, not hype.

What sets us apart:

• Visible alignment — our economics are clear and can be reviewed in detail • Straightforward structures — no layered fees or hidden complexity burying where value accrues • Cost control as strategy — cost-definition frameworks and operational accountability reduce surprises

We win on credibility. We speak plainly, avoid overpromising, document what matters, and run a repeatable process that serious capital recognizes. Trust is built by governance, execution, and consistency.

About Nexus Petroleum Group

Nexus Petroleum Group is a privately held energy investment firm with offices in Newport Beach, California and Fort Worth, Texas. We give accredited investors direct access to institutional-quality energy opportunities by partnering with experienced operators across proven U.S. basins.

These opportunities were historically limited to large funds and family offices. We bridge that gap through direct participation programs. Investors may participate as individuals or through entities such as LLCs, trusts, family offices, and other qualified structures. Our programs offer:

  • Working interest ownership in physical wells
  • Pass-through tax benefits via Schedule K-1
  • Transparent investor reporting through our online portal

Our executive team spans military intelligence leadership, institutional investing, international security, and energy finance. This combination drives how we source, underwrite, and manage investments.

Why We Exist

Energy has long offered compelling returns, tax advantages, and diversification. But accessing high-quality deals traditionally required deep industry ties or institutional-scale capital.

Nexus Petroleum Group was founded to solve that access problem. We build programs that meet institutional standards — then offer them to individual accredited investors. The documentation, transparency, and governance match what a pension fund or endowment would expect.

Our approach prioritizes quality over volume. We evaluate far more opportunities than we advance. Every program is vetted through stress testing, operator diligence, and legal review. This selectivity protects capital and manages risk.

Our Commitment to Transparency

Transparency is an operating requirement, not a marketing message. Before any commitment, investors receive comprehensive offering documents. Throughout the lifecycle, they get regular production and financial reports.

Our portal provides 24/7 access to tax documents including K-1 schedules and other offering-related materials.

We are also honest about risk. Oil and gas investing involves commodity price swings, operational challenges, and illiquidity. We articulate these risks clearly — alongside the potential rewards.

This candor is why our investors trust us.
