Nexus Petroleum Group participates in Bear Lake, LP operations in Divide County, North Dakota, consisting of two horizontal wells targeting the Bakken formation in the Williston Basin.

The Williston Basin is one of the major U.S. oil-producing regions and includes the Bakken and Three Forks formations. The U.S. Energy Information Administration identifies the Bakken and Three Forks among the country’s notable tight-oil formations.
